Marc Gadbois


Marc Gadbois is an experienced automotive magazine publisher with over 15 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket and is passionate about the industry.

Marc was the founding publisher of Canadian Auto Repair and Service (CARS) magazine. As well, Marc was the publisher of Canada's leading automotive repair and service magazine - Service Station and Garage Management (SSGM).

Also, he was publisher of the French language automotive aftermarket magazine L'automobile. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto. Marc and his wife Sandra live in Toronto with their newborn son Zachary.

Phil Sasso

Phil Sasso is founder and president of Sasso Marketing, Inc., a Chicago based technical marketing firm that has created advertising, public relations and promotional campaigns for automotive aftermarket and tool and equipment manufacturers since 1989. His firm has provided consulting and creative services to global corporations across the United States as well as Canada, Mexico, France, Sweden and Germany. He has presented at SEMA and regularly participates in AAPEX, NACE, and GASS as an advisor to exhibitors and/or as working trade media.

Phil has written over 100 business, sales and marketing articles for automotive aftermarket publications including Performance Business, RV Business, and Service Station & Garage Management (SSGM) / L'automobile (Canada). Since 2006, he has been contributing editor at SouthComm's Professional Distributor, writing a monthly tool and equipment sales and marketing column, and interviewing dozens of manufacturers about sales and promotional strategies.

His career's work encompasses studying sales and marketing strategies of leading automotive aftermarket and tool and equipment manufacturers. He's served as adjunct faculty at Triton College and been interim director of their Weekend Program. He's also been a speaker and workshop leader for the Small Business Development Center. He's a graduate of Northern Illinois University. Phil lives in suburban Chicago with his wife, son and an adopted stray cat that seems to struggle with feline/canine identity issues.
